Last Week CCC team on Coastal Hazards

Last week we had a comprehensive presentation by the Planning team at CCC. The topic was about the long-term preparation for global warming. The staff team are seeking submissions for residents especially from the areas identified as being vulnerable to see level rise. I found the presentation helpful and would recommend that you watch the recording below if you were not able to attend on the night.

It is useless blaming Councils if you object to something like the plans for issues like managed retreat if you don’t take up the opportunity to participate when invited. Invite the CCC team to speak to any group you are involved with. This is an open process right now. Take it. Have your say.
