I am writing to you just in case you have not seen any of these events posted on social media and hope that you are able to make it along to see all the exciting initiatives that are happening and proposed along the Otakaro Avon River Corridor OARC (Former Residential Red Zone)
From the 1st of August thru to the 8th of August between 10am and 4pm we will have a exhibition displayed at the Kiosk in the Botanic Gardens, I will be there most days and look forward to having a chat if you can make it in.

On Tuesday the 3rd of August at 7pm we have an exciting line up of speakers to talk about their projects and an opportunity for you to ask questions. These include the Ōtākaro Living Laboratory – Rob Kerr, Waitākiri Sanctuary – Eric Pawson and Colin Meurk and the Climate Change Campus – Vicki Buck.

The on Saturday the 7th of August we have a special Ōtākaro Avon River corridor edition of Envirokids, if you have young ones bring them along and engage with some fun activities about the OARC and the importance of looking after our rivers.
We have a few slots available both during the day and a couple of evenings if you wanted to have a meeting or have an OARC related event during this exhibition week. Drop me an email if you are interested.
