Continuing our consideration of what are the new ideas. Where are the new opportunities? This week we have an American, who has brought his skills to New Zealand to utilise the great engineering mecca this City really takes for granted. Gary Freedman wrote this to me recently:
This country has the highest rate of short haul flights in the world per capita. That’s a result of geography and lack of public transport. We also have one of the greenest electricity grids. So, I think the time is right to be pushing hard for NZ to lead the way in low emission flight.
