The killings that took place on March 15 generated a global reaction and waves of visitors from across the world to the two mosques that were attacked. Many entered in tears and it was as if this spoke to each in a very personal way. Invitations came to speak at international gatherings, and one was a request for speakers from Christchurch to make a presentation at a workshop in Singapore. Tony Green was the media spokesperson at Masjid An-Nur. He travelled to Singapore with Claire Phillips from Christchurch City Council. Together they will offer some perspectives on this tragic day, the Muslim community, and the international perspective of the New Zealand response.
