This week we finish the year focusing on ecology. Colin Meurk is our final speaker as he focuses (briefly) on the ecological challenges facing this City. I have asked Colin specially to cover what we should be planting in our gardens so that we can feed birds. It is such a delight when the piwakawaka visits our garden each Spring and Autumn. Like most people I would like to hear how we can do our bit toward the flourishing of bird life in our City.
After Colin’s address we will have a healthy Christmas Cake, cooked by Pam and iced by Rosie. My only contribution was to eat some of the ingredients soaking in booze when Pam was out of the room. The cake will be accompanied by bubbles.
