Ian Powell has written a glowing article about how effective Dr Verrall has been already with moving the responsibility for fluoridation from Local Authorities to the Director general of Health.
After looking closely at the CDHB debacle I now question the effectiveness of the DG of Health, Ashley Bloomfield. He might be a very good public health practitioner but I don’t think he has shown much of a sign of being a good administrator. The MOH has made too many mistakes for me to have confidence in him, or his administration.
However, maybe removing the responsibility to MOH is an example of an MP doing their job properly. Or is it another Central Government MP continuing to garrot the Local Government sector?https://otaihangasecondopinion.wordpress.com/2021/03/21/very-good-fluoridation-political-call-dr-verrall/
