Around the corner from us are houses where the kids living in them went to school with our kids. Some of these State houses are being sold and developers are pulling them down.

What is to stop Kianga Ora putting in place a scheme where these houses are offered at a low price to families for their first home. This sort of scheme is what put my generation’s families in their own homes when I was a kid. Given half a day I reckon I could pull together a scheme where everybody would benefit, and a suburb could come alive again. Who’s up for the challenge?
I’m with you. I think pulling down perfectly good homes and selling to developers and investors is absolutely disgusting!
