I found this graph, which I can’t remember where I found it, over the break. I have no idea about its statistical validity. However, it does demonstrate the need for us to support each other at a local level. To know our neighbours. To shop locally. To have a discount factor on the proclamations of those who are promoting their own interests; or driven by hate or fundamental ideology. I look on at the current leadership of Australian politics which is led by fundamental Christians. They appear to me to be about as far away from what Christ preached and practiced as you can get. Yet they impose their fundamental supposed principles on their country because they aren’t scared of Armageddon. Which is a biblical myth.
Here’s the graph and it’s interesting, also considering the Aussie PM when this graph shows where people in this sample felt scientists were on their “trust” list. The “distrust” list is very sobering.
