We need your help to develop a new 30-year vision and plan for Greater Christchurch
The Greater Christchurch Partnership is inviting local leaders, thinkers and influencers to a series of workshops to define our aspiration for Greater Christchurch in 2050 and identify the collective actions and investments we need to get us there.
You can choose from three workshops themed around:
Our Natural Environment, Our Society, and Our Economy held on the 23, 24 or 25 November 2020.
Each workshop will address the same questions – what is our aspiration for the future and what we need to do to get there.
Please select the workshop which best fits with your area of interest or expertise. You are welcome to attend more than one.

The questions we want to answer are:
- What are we aspiring for Greater Christchurch to be – as a place for people, business, the environment?
- What are the “big moves” we need to make to achieve our aspiration?
- How do we transition to net zero carbon and respond to climate change?
Creating a new 30-year vision and plan for Greater Christchurch requires a collective focus and effort. This vision and plan will direct the priorities of our partner agencies and form the basis for partnership with central government. We need your involvement to create a vision and plan which is aspirational, credible, actionable and speaks to our people and place.
