The Dallas News is a really interesting media company. It sends me info several times every day. The editorials are often really worth while reading, and thoughtful.
A recent article captured my imagination. In it the author writes about a movement in America which has been formed between various organisations and individuals who have traditionally supported different political parties. They were brought together to be asked what did they think they were achieving by bombarding politics with money which wasn’t encouraging the parties to address the fundamental issues facing society. It’s a fascinating issue and maybe those of us interested in local government in this area could take a lesson from this book and start challenging our local politicians to address real issues all the time.
