New Zealand stopped breathing when the latest Auckland community case was announced. The young person who was infected, and who was told to stay at home didn’t, and the rest is history.
We must remain vigilant but we should also be grateful for all of the scientists who manage our response. We rely on these highly trained and committed people to keep us all safe. We must also be grateful for our politicians who listen to them. Right now, we have that and this is just a note to say thank you to them all, those in the front line and those behind it who manage the science.
