Let us say thanks to the teachers in our schools

This week the schools opened. Let’s acknowledge the teachers of our City who had to work with many kids who would have been frightened about coming back to school.

They had been caged in for weeks and would have had enormous amounts of energy ready to share with all of their mates. It must have been a testing time for all, and so, thank you teachers. Yours is one of the most fundamental responsibilities in our society and the fact that there appeared to be no major problems is a credit to you all.
